Geomorphology Brown Bag - Winter 2013

Tuesday 12 - 1 pm in Wilkinson 203
Age and incision history of the Grand Canyon

The first half of winter term will look at the incision history of the Grand Canyon from the historical perspective, accompanied by an introduction to the "old vs. new canyon" debate.  The second part of the term will focus on studies of modern processes within the canyon.  Volunteers can pick from either topic using the bibliography below, compiled by Nick & Lalo, or an article of your choice.
